All of us at The Banks Law Firm (TBLF) are passionate about strengthening the communities in which we live and serve. Throughout the year we engage in various activities offering our time and expertise beyond legal matters. Our firm-wide involvement extends with unwavering dedication standing at the heart of our core values.
Since 2003, The Banks Foundation has been holding annual golf tournaments to raise money for families who are moving from welfare to work and from public housing to private homeownership.
Each year in June, TBLF closes for two days to provide the volunteers necessary for The Triangle Golf Challenge, The Banks Foundation’s Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament.
The Banks Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, was formed on November 17, 2000, for the purpose of assisting families who are moving from welfare to work and from public housing to private homeownership. Over the years, the Foundation has provided down payment assistance to families who have qualified to purchase their first home.

It has also supported numerous Triangle charities such as Communities In Schools-Durham, The Triangle Aphasia Project, the Hayti Heritage Center, and several others over the years.
