A great time was had by all who attended The 2014 Triangle Golf Challenge Reception Thursday evening on June 12th.  Participants were treated to wonderful auction items, including jewelry, golf lesson packages, a weekend stay at the Washington Duke Inn, autographed photos and other items by celebrities such as Maya Angelou and Mohammed Ali, gourmet food items, vacation packages and more.  The catered dinner featured grilled shrimp and chicken, handmade mini ham biscuits, homemade pimento cheese and tiny little red velvet cupcakes that were to die for.  The highlight of the evening was a stand-out performance by master horn player Tom Browne and renown R & B vocalist Alyson Williams (who also sang for Maya Angelou’s Memorial Service recently).
