She maintains a litigation and advisory practice serving educational institutions and employers, counseling K-12 schools and colleges on the full range of matters that arise in the educational setting, from employment questions to special education law. Amber represents schools and employers in due process hearings, administrative agency investigations, and litigation before state and federal courts.
Amber’s experience encompasses employment law, board governance, Title IX, policy drafting and revision, student disciplinary hearings, contract review, and workplace investigations.
Amber earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as Academic Chair for the First-Generation Law Students organization, providing peer academic support and mentoring students navigating the legal profession for the first time. While at Wake Forest, she also discovered a passion for legal writing and served as a Teaching Assistant for a Legal Research and Writing course.
