Mr. Lancaster is an attorney in the Real Estate group with the Firm. His practice includes the review of all title commitments, insurance issues, and other title-related matters. Matthew previously served as in-house claims counsel for Fidelity National Title Group, where he administered title claims across five jurisdictions and has experience managing litigation to resolve title-related issues. Matthew has also provided advice to individuals and corporate boards regarding the formation and organization of nonprofit corporations.

Mr. Lancaster received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in History and Economics and his Juris Doctor degree for the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as Comments Editor on the North Carolina Law Review. Matthew is a native North Carolinian, raised in Hendersonville, and enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and scuba diving during his free time.
