Ms. Brodie is a paralegal with the TBLF Litigation Group. She has over 22 years of experience in the legal field bringing a comprehensive background as a legal assistant and paralegal in corporate, local government, and private law firm settings. She has worked throughout North Carolina, including in Durham, Raleigh, and Charlotte. Ms. Brodie’s legal expertise spans a wide range of practice areas, including criminal law, civil litigation, personal injury, traffic matters, family law, and workers’ compensation.

Tavia has also worked in the Health Information Management field as a Release of Information Specialist, supporting clinical and hospital systems with the management and protection of confidential records. This role strengthened her attention to detail, compliance knowledge, and commitment to confidentiality.

Tavia is passionate about traveling, event planning and design, and community engagement. She actively supports initiatives focused on mental health awareness, violence prevention, and community outreach.

Ms. Brodie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from North Carolina Central University.
