Ted Edwards Elected to Serve as a North Carolina State Bar Councilor

Durham NC – The Banks Law Firm, PA. congratulates Ted Edwards.  On December 1, 2015, Mr. Edwards was reelected by the Tenth Judicial District Bar (Wake County) to serve on the North Carolina State Bar Council.   The North Carolina State Bar Council governs the practice of law in North Carolina.

Mr. Edwards is a graduate of the Duke University School of Law.  He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and he is a certified mediator. In 2012, Mr. Edwards served as President of the Wake County Bar Association. In 2011, he was selected for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Citizen Lawyer Award which honors attorney for exemplary public service activities. In 2006, Mr. Edwards was awarded the William L. Thorpe Pro Bono Attorney Award by the North Carolina Bar Association, which recognizes attorneys who provide exceptional pro bono legal assistance to low-income citizens in North Carolina.
